A senior manager with a strong sales leadership track record who has gained significant international experience managing organisations of up to 280 staff to achieve goals of up to $5.1bn for some of the world’s leading companies including HP, HPE, Unisys, Sun, & Compaq, as well as leading change and growth in the higher education sector as Assistant Dean of Oxford Brookes Business School. Proven success in driving business growth within complex matrix structures, during times of business turbulence but also in times of growth where opening new international markets was a priority, particularly in the Central & Eastern Europe region. I have a significant set of transferable skills acquired and developed in an eclectic series of roles, countries and organisations and have proved myself able to adapt and succeed in cultures from academic to commercial. I have been privileged to have recruited, built, trained and coached diverse teams to deliver results in both volume product and complex new technology markets and as Managing Director of organisations in Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands and Belgium. As a senior leader or as a single contributor mentor I have always succeeded in delivering in tasks as diverse as driving profitable growth, securing new educational partnerships or managing complex acquisition and integration projects to completion. Currently having the gap year I missed out on in my twenties, learning to sail, brew, smoke stuff (no, not like that ...food!) and enjoying doing some freelance radio production and research work ...oh, and relaxing before contemplating what comes next.
