About Chris Ford

I believe that higher education is the ultimate equalizer, and that the most complex societal challenges require collaborative solutions. Universities are where society comes together to solve our biggest hurdles, to find common ground resolutions to our most important debates, and to educate people from all backgrounds, socioeconomic circumstances, and walks of life. As a first-generation Pell Grant college student and need-based scholarship recipient, I experienced the transformative power of philanthropy and higher education firsthand. Now as a higher education advancement professional, I am committed to the mission of raising the financial and human capital that empowers and inspires current and future generations of students, faculty, and researchers to make the world better. I enjoy partnering with established and aspiring philanthropists to find a meaningful avenue in which they can invest in creating a legacy of positive impact on campus that resonates throughout the state, across the nation, and around the globe.
