Experienced speech-language pathologist with a special interest in the adult neurological population. Skilled in dysphagia, cognitive-communicative disorders, aphasia, apraxia, voice disorders, pediatric speech and language disorders, and pediatric voice disorders. I have a diverse background with setting type, including acute care hospital, acute rehab, outpatient hospital clinic, skilled nursing, public school, specialty school. I am proficient in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies, independently completing, reading, and interpreting, as well as initialized process for Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow (FEES) competency. I enjoy supporting the education of graduate students and facilitated the graduate student clinician program at a previous outpatient hospital clinic.In addition to clinical work, I currently teach masters level courses for Emerson College's online graduate degree program, Speech@Emerson. I facilitate live sessions each week for Neurologic Bases of Communication, as well as a Virtual Clinical Placement.
