Wished to be a Scientist, as a School boy. Graduated as a Mechanical Engineer with affinity for Electrical Engineering and interests in Spirituality and meta-physics. Post graduated in Naval Architecture from IIT, Delhi. Work Experience. A Veteran with 20 years of Commissioned service in the Indian Navy; In various Techno-commercial roles - designed & built ships, repaired ships, outfitted them and set up a Greenfield shipyard. 03 years at Eureka Forbes; as Head New Product Development, set up greenfield Pleated Cartridge manufacturing plant and initiated product development into 'Green' technologies. Worked at B Fouress Ltd for four since 2011; in varying capacity and roles from Operations to Business strategy to New Business Venture. Successfully setup 09 power projects and commissioned 05 in 04 different countries in 03 years' time. Worked at CBRE Asia Pacific Ltd, Bengaluru since 2017. Headed the Operations for the Region for 2 years and thereafter moved into the National Compliance Team to groom and nurture talent across the Country. The Start-up bug finally caught me in 2021 when my son returned from the UK after his Post graduation in Urban Design. Amalgrain - amalgamation of grains was thus born as a collaborative design firm with Architects from all fields working together to provide the best possible solution to our clients.
