Christopher Scott is a hands-on finance executive with a strong technology background gifted with determination, a knack for problem-solving, and the necessary skills to get the job done. Through the years Chris has successfully been able to coordinate bankers, auditors, attorneys, investors, and the Boards of Directors to ensure the success of a project.Chris is currently the Director of Financial Stewardship for The Shoreline Church, a community of people following Jesus together, whose purpose is to love God and love others as instructed by our Lord (Matthew 22:37-39).Chris is also the Managing Member of Out West Advisors LLC, an Orange County, California based provider of contract, part-time and outsourced CFO services to companies across the United States in many sectors and in every phase of their life cycle.Chris brings almost 20 years of varied industry experience in financial reporting, audit preparation, private and public capital formation and structure, IPO/SOX, and extensive start-up company expertise. Chris works with non-profit organizations on tasks ranging from obtaining their 501(c)3 designations, assisting in creating or revamping formation and governance documents, working through non-profit reporting issues, and performing their tax and accounting work on a contract basis.
