We represent owners, operators and developers of shopping centers, office buildings, multi-family and industrial buildings. We have represented clients in a wide range of financing transactions as lender’s counsel and as borrower’s counsel. Effective representation of sophisticated operators in business and real estate transactions requires a skill set that can only be developed with experience and over time. Clients engage with us for counsel on making decisions on commercial matters, management issues and strategic, long term planning. We listen to a client’s goals and find ways to achieve those goals. When representing a client on a transaction that is outside of the ordinary course of its business such as a real estate acquisition, a major lease for a business relocation, or corporate governance matters, bringing reasoned, realistic advise to the table is critical. Most closely held businesses do not have the luxury of having in-house counsel. Legal matters are presented to business owners and executives who may not have experience in a particular type of transaction. They must rely on experienced outside counsel who have their business interests in mind. Providing that resource for legal and business advice is where we can be of the greatest service.
