RIBA Chartered Architect working in a wide range of sectors and providing leadership and strategic direction in design led environments. Currently working in the field of specialist residential housing, care and retirement living, focusing on providing innovative design solutions to enable independence, happiness and ageing well in place.Chris worked previously as an Architect at Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and has experience working on major residential and mixed-use developments across the UK. He has led a mixed-use scheme in Battersea, the design of Garratt Place in Wandsworth Town Centre and has most recently gained technical design and construction experience delivering a 32 storey student residential tower and leisure centre in Vauxhall, London. Chris also previously worked at Lilly Lewarne Practice in Cornwall, working on a number of projects from bespoke private housing and luxury car dealerships to large scale healthcare projects, social housing and historic building conservation projects.With a particular interest in how design can respond to wider cultural, ecological, economic and social concerns, Chris is actively involved in the ethical production of sustainable architecture. With an emphasis on environmental conservation Chris has developed an expertise in the conservation of wildlife and biodiversity through working with initiatives such as the European Conservation Action Network.
