Responsys acquired by Oracle in 2014 ● Rewrote the asset tracking application in a self-contained web application with Node.js and MongoDB using Express, Bootstrap, jQuery, and other web technologies to replace previous Google, GAS, and SalesForce implementation. It now tracks and reports on thousands of assets and is fully mobile ready with Responsive UI.● Collaborated with Business Applications group to customize and redesign SalesForce Fixed Assets to track all data center assets from receiving dock to recycle pallet. Applied team-wide “document as you go” process using SalesForce, Google Sheets, and App Script to keep everything up to date. ● Continually planned and managed projects requiring new paradigms in networking, SAN, and server infrastructure to be implemented within the data center with minimal downtime.● Expanded two data center sites over tenure by 400% working with colo facilities to spec and install power, structured cable, and floor layouts. Supervised installation on compressed timelines to meet business needs.

As the Sr. System Administrator on a small operations team, I helped to bring Enporion’s outsourced software product in-house and succeeded in building four independent product environments from wire to web page. ● Designed and built to support and maintain 24/7 availability at 99.99% uptime, the end result saved the company $4.5 million annually. ● Operated through continuous development releases: installing and managing server lifecycles, continuously refining processes and procedures using scripting and other tools, and providing 24/7 support. ● Charged with the management of all corporate servers and workstations to garner higher end user satisfaction, regardless of location. Planned and delivered SQL2005 clusters on iSCSI storage, server migrations to VMware ESX, Exchange upgrade to 2003, and more.

My responsibilities included configuration, maintenance, and support of all Windows Servers and Desktops, switch and firewall configuration, backup, antivirus, and phone system support. I was also responsible for the design and implementation of the company’s intranet and employee database.

I worked on a three person team to support all Windows Servers and Desktops and their related services, while interacting with Network and Linux development teams on joint projects. I was responsible for all Windows Servers in the Silicon Valley location, including Exchange, RSA, VPNs, and tape library system.

Hired as a desktop technician, my tasks included working with local and remote users to troubleshoot and diagnose all desktop issues, resolving or escalating them accordingly. Within a year I was promoted to Network Administrator. Responsibilities included management of email and application services and working in concert with other teams in IT to fulfill user requirements.
