- Serve as system administrator for university’s learning management system, Blackboard 8, 9, and 9.1- Provide technical support for students, faculty, and staff for Blackboard- Conduct training for faculty/staff and students in the use of Blackboard- Develop help documentation for use of Blackboard at the university- Consult university faculty on integration of appropriate technology with their teaching content- Assist the university helpdesk with training on Blackboard support calls- Test new technology, both software and hardware for instructional use- Instruct faculty/staff on the use of new instructional technologies available- Collaborate with others in Information Technology Department at the university and other institutions

- Planned and opened 1.5 million dollar student funded technology center- Created software images for deployment to 150+ machines- Formed and hired team of student personnel to staff the Technology Commons- Collaborated with several levels of university administration from the building phase to the operational phase of the Technology Commons- Worked with and helped maintain budget used to open and operate the Technology Commons.- Co-created and worked with the Learning Environment for Academia’s Future (LEAF) committee to begin a program for faculty to use an incubator classroom to more effectively teach students through the implementation and use of new technology- Served as full-time Blackboard Course & Content management support and training as part of an extended cross-training program within the Instructional Technology division of Information Technology
