Current• Manage the development and implementation of community-based education and empowermentprograms, including patient and family focused educational events.• Manage and implement program evaluation and develop strategies to gather feedback from community to ensure programs are valuable and will increase community engagement. • Build, develop and maintain relationships among communities including people living with chronic disease, health care professionals and other stakeholders to advance community engagement goals.• Identify new opportunities for partnership and collaboration with outside entities including hospitals, clinics, physician offices, and other nonprofit/healthcare organizations, to maximize impact and engagement.• Serve as a liaison between CEAOA and local communities while maintaining a presence through community outreach, community presentations, health/wellness fairs, and other events.• Manage the budget and calendar for North Carolina and Ohio community-based education programs.• Work collaboratively with Board Members with a focus on building strategic partnerships, mutually supporting outreach, and fundraising efforts. • Develop and implement strategies to grow and maintain a network of volunteers within each state to support local programs and events. • Foster mutually supportive relationships with local volunteers.. • Manage communication channels including CEAOA webpage, e-newsletter, social media accounts, phone and emails.
