Office Service Manager
Current• Manage and direct supervisors involved in administrative procedures to ensure compliance with divisional and departmental standards• Plan, organize, administer and review work quality and staff productivity and take appropriate steps to correct deficiencies relative to low performance and productivity• Develop input for departmental planning, staffing, and budgetary needs• Serve as hiring manager to recruit, interview, and select new employees to maintain adequate staffing levels to achieve divisional goals• Maintain divisional and departmental records in accordance with policies and procedures• Compile, prepare, and complete required reports with accuracy• Maintain, disseminate, and implement Houston Police Department and City of Houston rules, regulations, policies, and Standard Operating Procedures• Provide leadership and mentorship to enhance and cultivate employee development• Influence transformational change to promote inclusiveness and departmental progress• Ensure all deadlines are met relative to divisional assignments and projects• Set priorities for the division based on work demand, assignments, and available personnel• Ensure efficient and professional customer service are continually practiced by all personnel• Plan and organize such that work and new initiatives are implemented with limited resources• Manage time and attendance through Kronos Workforce Central and/or SAP to maintain accurate time entries for payroll administration, as well as create schedules and run reports• Act as divisional liaison to customers, other divisions, and external law enforcement agencies to provide assistance and resolve any discovered issues • Maintain knowledge and provide guidance regarding Civilian Rules and Regulations, General Orders, City of Houston Administrative Policies, Records Management System (RMS), International Organization Standardization (ISO), Texas Crime Information Center (TCIC), and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)
