Investing in climate. In May 2022, I graduated from Yale Schools of Management (SOM) and the Environment (YSE), at which I received my MBA and Master of Environment Management. At Yale, I focused on impact investing, blending conservation and business, and sustainable ag. There, I also developed a backpacking food startup; afterward, I have been focusing on impact investing. In 2016, I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Scripps College, where I studied Environmental Economics with an Entrepreneurship minor. At Scripps, I founded and led the entrepreneurship club and self-designed my entrepreneurship minor. After Scripps, I worked in wildlife conservation. In my life and work, I aim to combine environmental activism and business to make a positive, tangible difference on the global environment. Professionally, I am skilled in & knowledgable about marketing, food/ag, and conservation. Personally, I love all things outdoors (hiking, SCUBA, birding), travel (to 5 continents, so far), and environmental education.

Director Of DevelopmentBlue Mountain Wildlife May 2017 - Aug 2019As Blue Mountain Wildlife's first ever hire in development, I spearheaded our fundraising efforts and capital campaign for an updated center, Soar Higher. To launch the campaign, I developed a set of promotional materials as well as worked with representatives of industries we hoped to interest in Soar Higher. I also began a #GivingTuesday campaign for BMW, raising about 10% of our annual income in one day. InternFelidae Conservation Fund Sep 2016 - Mar 2017Mill Valley, California, UsAs a Felidae intern, I worked on their local Bay Area Puma Project, researching and working to conserve mountain lions (pumas) in the SF Bay Area.In the field, I helped determine the best location for field cameras based on wildlife signs, as well as checked and replaced field cameras. This involves learning wildlife signs, learning best practices for field cameras, using a GPS device, hiking, and off-roading.In the office, I took it upon myself to update our educational materials to make them more accessible and useful to students. I also entered data from our field cameras. In schools, I have taught elementary, middle, and high school students using PowerPoint presentations, labs, and field trips. Our program teaches about pumas, human-puma coexistence, and wildlife biology. Finally, at outreach events, I (wo)manned our Felidae table and talked with community members about our project and local pumas. While there is a lot of misinformation locally about mountain lions, I have seen significant differences in the opinions of both children and adults after they have visited our table. -
