As the Chairman & CEO of the Council Exchange Board of Trade (CEBOT), I lead a national trade association that represents over 65,000 minority technology employers across 40 districts in the US. With more than 30 years of experience in the minority technology industry, I am passionate about advancing inclusive economic development, innovation, and competitiveness through public-private partnerships and inclusive procurement solutions.I also serve as the fund manager of the Community Outcome Fund, which conducts applied research to measure the impact of our investments on social and economic outcomes. Additionally, I am involved in several regional and national initiatives that support STEM education, career readiness, and parent involvement for underrepresented groups. I believe that by empowering minority entrepreneurs and innovators, we can create a more equitable and prosperous society for all.Recently I was honored to be appointed Co-Chair of a working group that is housed in the U.S. Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology, Information Technology Laboratory’s Applied Cybersecurity Division. The NICE Career Discovery and Multiple Pathways working group is implementing a component of the NICE federal 2021-2025 strategic plan.
