- Doctoral assistant in the field of monocular 3D facereconstruction - Designed & developped a complete reconstruction pipeline that synthesis 3D face out of a single RGB image using computer vision & deep learning techniques. The work focused on solutions to increase the robustness of the reconstruction process to external factors (i.e. head pose, image resolution) and ways to recover missing facial details of regular statistical models- Supervision of students for various projects related to 3D face reconstruction and facial image analysis in general (i.e. facial expression detection/analysis, face alignment, head pose estimation)
Lausanne Area, Switzerland
- Research and development of a pipeline for the generation of synthetic frontal view of the human face out of a multicamera rig. A multilinear statistical model was used to reconstruct facial geometry and single appearance map was generated by stitching visiable part from each viewpoints.- Face alignment, facial expressions and action unit detection algorithm implementation and integration - Development and maintenance of a collaborative and multi-platform C++ library including python bindings for facial image processing and analysis- Conception of an Android application for the medical domain (User interface, C++ automatic image processing framework integration)
