Employ the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) methodology to test the agile products developed and deployed by the Task Order. Conduct performance tests of web based enterprise applications using LoadRunner and/or Compuware QA Load. Testing is performed in order to validate and verify software as well as data for conformance and consistency in accordance with the documented requirements and specifications. Periodically “spot” test the developer verification and regression tests to ensure they provide adequate coverage against the design, which requires daily interaction with the Development and Engineering (D&E) team. Conduct the final “Run for Record” testing prior to deployment to production and providing documented results of the analysis. Provide recommendations based on the testing performed and the results obtained.

Verify and validate software for conformance and consistency in accordance with documented requirements and specifications. Test all new releases, enhancements, and system changes. Ensure verification and validation process employed is consistent with the CPMP guidelines, commercial best practices, and commercial standards such as TMM and CMMI. Perform verification activities to ensure developed software fulfills the requirements as stated in the Systems Requirements document (SRD). Accomplish verification through requirements analysis, inspections, walkthroughs, peer reviews, and the creation of a Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM). Write discrepancy reports and software problem reports as needed during the testing cycle. Develops and maintain up to date verification procedures. Report the results of testing via a formal test report to the Government for each code delivery tested. Perform validation testing to evaluate whether the software application functions as outlined in the SRD. Ensure the following testing to accomplish validation testing required for each supported code delivered: full systems functional testing, usability testing, volume testing, load/stress testing, security testing, performance testing, installation testing, acceptance testing, regression testing, and configuration testing. Use government approved tools for test automation to the greatest extent possible. Attend major control gates as required. Provide input for metrics collection.

Manage Help Desk operations providing assistance via email, telephone, and Peregrine Database. Coordinate and assign requests to appropriate team members. Install, operate, and maintain network file and print servers, client/user workstations, network components, and associated networking software. Create all unclassified and classified user and email accounts. Provide maintenance to file and print servers to include daily, weekly, and monthly backups using ArcServe. Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Help Desk functions, performed by the System Support Team. Configure desktops and laptops for unclassified and classified networks. Install, maintain, and repair network and stand alone printers. Troubleshoot and repair cable-related problems between users’ desktop/laptop and LAN devices.
