As a Creative and Consultant, I’m driven by a life of authenticity, creativity, and helping others, I take pride in making an impact and positive experiences in my community. I specialize in project management and creating strategies that drive success for solopreneurs, nonprofits, and small businesses. As a Creative… I can honestly say I’ve done it all. In 2016, I published my first book The Eye of the Panther. In 2017, I created and produced a podcast that discussed current topics and interviewed local artists. Some artists included newly signed Def Jam artist, Nezi Momodu, and others like David Morgan, Leah Frazier, Sam Lao, and Rikki Blu. I also planned and hosted events like the Cartoon and Cereal Artshow, Diamonds in the Rough showcase, and an annual vision board party. In 2018, I wrote and produced my own web series, Kismet. It was published in 2021 on Youtube. Currently, I am working on a sci-fi/fantasy project. It’s been in the works since 2016, but I’ve finally made progress in the world building and I can’t wait to share it with the world. As a Project Manager & StrategistI came to Brass Tacks as a college dropout with a passion for writing. Although I was a published author and worked with numerous brands in the marketing space, no one was willing to give me a chance initially because of this. I found an opportunity with Brass Tacks as a Copywriting Apprentice, there I found I had a talent and passion for project management. I was quickly promoted to Project Manager, and in my new role, I became the bridge between the Apprenticeship program and Brass Tack's professional staff members. My job was to ensure that the Apprentices received the tools and education they needed to be successful in the program and in life. As a ConsultantIn my time at Brass Tacks, I’ve picked up many skills. As a copywriter, I was able to hone in my storytelling. As a project manager, I learned how to build projects, manage a team, and identify risks. As a strategist, I’ve provided insight and recommendations for nonprofits, programs, brands, and creative artists. And I want to use my experience to help others accomplish their goals.As a PersonWhen I’m not building strategies, budgets, and curricula, you can find me working on my creative projects, watching anime, or playing video games. There’s nothing better than sitting on my green couch watching TV in my comfy robe, but shopping and spending time with my friends sometimes interrupts that.
