As a pool manager at Algonquin, I enforced policies and procedures to lifeguards and members, checking pool chemicals, keeping the facility clean and operational, public relations, and creating a safe and effective work environment for the staff and members. Throughout the swim season at Algonquin, I worked closely with the coaching staff to teach kids the proper stroke techniques, while creating a successful and fun learning environment. Aside from coaching, I also utilized meet manager to create meet line-ups for the club's swim meets.

I worked with children ages eleven and up with Missouri State Aquatics. In Springfield I taught the kids the importance of swimming stroke mechanics, anaerobic and aerobic training, and the importance of the power, strength, and flexibility behind each of the four strokes at practice. I also made sure to provide an environment for the kids to have fun, work hard, and communicate appropriately with not only their coaches, but their teammates as well.

I worked with children between the ages of 8-14 for five weeks. During the five weeks I worked with the children on swimming stroke mechanics, anaerobic and aerobic training, and developing core strength, power, and flexibility. I also showed instructional presentations on nutrition, mental training, technique, high performance, and meet preparation. Lastly, I put a strong emphasis on respect for the coaching staff and for the swimmers. I made sure to provide an environment for the kids to have fun, work hard, and communicate appropriately with not only their coaches, but their teammates as well.

At Parkway Swim Club I worked with children between the ages of 6-8 on basic swimming stroke mechanics. I would work in and out of the water with the kids perfecting their strokes to maximize their productivity in the pool.
