Compassionate, hard-working, and adaptable student in Gannon University’s Master of Physician Assistant Science program. Currently completing my clinical year in my MPAS program, which includes 5 weeks in each of 8 different specialties. 1+ year experience as a patient care assistant with UPMC Pinnacle healthcare system. In this role, I assisted nurses and providers in providing patients aid with activities of daily living, obtained and recorded vital signs, and practiced basic care and compassion for those recovering from cardiothoracic surgery. My prior work experience and clinical experience have sufficiently prepared me for my future profession as a physician assistant. I additionally have experience in community volunteering and leadership activities. Previous volunteering and extracurricular activities have provided me with social skills, teamwork, leadership skills, and organizational techniques that will further help me to excel in my future profession. I am very eager to apply my experience and skills in my professional career and to provide excellent care to my future patients.
