Hey there, I’m Cecelia and I am about helping folks and companies succeed. Back in 1994, I started BCA, Executive Recruiters, a fancy name for a retained, niche, boutique executive search firm. We gained a national presence for assisting clients in hiring top-level HR execs such as CHROs, SVP HR, Chief Talent Officers, and Total Reward Leaders. Notable clients have included Citibank, ESPN, Marsh, MMC, and Nestle Waters N. America. Today we are still assisting clients of large and medium size, corporate and PE-owned. Guess we are still having fun! My knack is spearheading HR executive searches. With a deep grasp of the crucial talent branding bits and pieces, I have become a trusted partner to my long-standing clients.But it’s not all work for me. I like to get involved in stuff too. You will catch me on Boards and Advisory Committees, where I can share my experience and insights on leadership and talent. And my love of community keeps me on my toes. When off the clock, you will find me rolling up my sleeves and volunteering at my church or my favorite non-profit spots. Life is about making a difference and connecting with awesome people or furry friends. My journey has had its share of challenges, including a run-in with cancer during the pandemic lockdown. But with the support of my superhero medical team and my incredible family, I bounced back stronger and wiser. The journey reminded me about the importance of patience, compassion, and delegation. But honestly, my most rewarding gig is being a parent to two incredible kids. They have turned into amazing adults and along the way, I picked up on some killer negotiation skills, tackled some time management challenges, and most importantly, learned how to celebrate life’s real wins.
