Administrative work is integral to the success of an organization, and I had the opportunity to support multiple departments as they conducted research and led webinars. My role allowed me to assist the Director of Administration by completing accounting paperwork and coding, scheduling flights and booking hotel rooms for National staff, maintaining office space, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.

As a senior in college, I chose to study the impact of communal gardening in medical settings. For the project component of the course, I implemented and led a community garden at The Village at Glencliff, specially designed to create a space, a Haven, for the residents of the medical respite. After I graduated, I followed through with the project for two years before handing it off to a team of seasoned volunteers who continue to maintain the garden for The Village at Glencliff.
