My entrepreneurial career began in the late 1980's with a new business venture, Super Shoppers; grocery shopping for those too busy to take on the task themselves. My clientele were the elite Portland Trailblazer wives, and the joy of running my own business thus developed!Fast forward some years, four children, and managing a busy life; I put my creative mind together at a time when women entrepreneurs were spreading their wings. I stumbled upon Sprinkles Cupcakes while on a trip with my kids in Orange County, California, and loved the concept! True to business, the idea took time to create, and some years later, Sweet CeCe's was launched. My three shoppe locations in Middle Tennessee, grew to over 50 franchised openings, many which I enjoy today. My love for sweets, desire to create an upbeat and whimsical shoppe for memories to be made, created a 'perfect storm' at a time when Nashville was about to explode. Following Sweet CeCe's, I have dabbled in a coffee concept, published a children's book about bullying; 'The Sweet Adventures of CeCe and Oliver the Giraffe' (My proudest accomplishment to date!), and continue to keep my innovative ideas unconfined when I Founded, The Occasional Tables in 2018.I serve to advocate against bullying, starting with education in the elementary age children. I continue to serve women entrepreneurs to help successfully fulfill their dreams.
