Construction and Facilities Maintenance Supervisor with over 20 years of combined experience in new construction and renovations at the residential and commercial levels. Preparation of project estimates ranging in value from $10,000.00 to $22,000,000.00. Comprehensive experience working on Government contract projects.My accomplishments include:• Creating Excel spreadsheets to track projects and follow multimillion-dollar estimates, • Introducing change in technique and methods to develop a more sound and practical tracking system of our large volume of Project Requests for estimates and working with our estimating staff to assume ownership of the projects they are assigned.• Working with the estimating team as a group, or one on one, in conveying Managements’ expectations of work performance and group adherence to company protocol in how we prepare and submit our products to the client. • Preparation of Indefinite Quantity (IQ) cost estimates/proposals for various construction services.• Previous services on Government Contracts over the past 20 plus years to include the US Naval Base; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in both our Engineering/Estimating Dept. working in the capacity of Planner/Estimator and in the Job Order Contracting (JOC) Dept. as a Construction Superintendent supervising a large variety of commercial type construction and construction renovation projects. Additionally I had worked on our Base Operations Support (BOS) contract on Johnston Atoll in the capacity of Planner Estimator. • Strong capabilities to manage a construction workforce on a diversified variety of construction projects.

Assessed statements of work from Government for their respective clients, and organized labor, material, and equipment requirements for individual projects. Determined the need for local subcontractors and guaranteed compliance with the Truth in Negotiation Act (TINA) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Contributed to the project bidding process and monitored tasks to comply with government contracts. Acted as a liaison between internal employees, government representatives, and end users to deliver products that incorporated project vision and requirements. Created project specifications, drawings, and sketches and ascertained the need for various system components. Partnered with government employees and networked internally and externally to drive projects that were completed on deadline and of exceptional quality. While working on the US Naval Base; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba between June 2000 and December 2004, I worked both as a field Construction Superintendent and an Estimator in our Engineering Dept., and while working projects in the field I had identified and prepare the required Change Order Estimates when work outside the originally planned scope was identified for individual projects.
