Returning To My RootsHaving grown up in a construction family, I spent my days framing houses, putting on roofs, and building decks, porches, barns and fences. Through my corporate career, I would find the occasional opportunity to utilize those skills and it really made me feel alive. Like the time our Sunday School class put a new roof and drop ceiling on the home of an elderly lady in town, when I added the deck onto a home we had, or when we acted as general contractors on the home we built in Mississippi. Having recently completed a remodel of our horse facility here on the farm, and no longer being tied down by the corporate world, I am returning to the construction business that I loved so much.
