I have many years of teaching experience in career tech and mathematics classes, but I also have many years of business experience. The years I have taught, I have been awarded grant money to help get more technology in the classroom. Money was used to purchase such items as mathematics software, tools for projects, and robotics parts. With help with sponsors, our students have daily access to a CNC router, laser cutter, commercial vinyl cutter, heat sublimation printer, two filament 3d printers, 1 resin 3d printer, and a computer lab with Autodesk Inventor software for designing. We thank our sponsors for helping our students keep designing, building, and creating. My business experience comes from managing thousands of acres of farmland, timberland, and a store. I also raised cows, dairy goats, and chickens on a small scale. I also worked as a project consultant for a shipbuilding software company. I am pro-life, so I volunteered my time to Sav-A-Life of Monroe County and served as president for a year. I also have been a coach and boy scout leader. I have served as a Technology Student Association sponsor where kids designed, built, and created to solve problems in competitions. I also serve as a VEX robotics mentor/coach.
