I am an entomologist and ecologist based in Pennsylvania, who recently graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University. I have an affinity for the understudied and underappreciated, and an interest in the complex ecological web that makes up the entire world. Insects with specialized host interactions- like gall-makers, leafminers, and parasitoids- particularly interest me.I have worked in multiple different labs at Penn State University, gaining experience in a variety of unique skills related to entomology. In the Deans Lab, I am doing taxonomic work describing parasitoids on gall wasps. With the Acevedo Lab, I carried out field work studying the invasive spotted lanternfly. Additionally, I’ve spent the last several years both volunteering and doing part-time work with the Frost Entomological Museum, providing me with substantial hands-on experience working with natural history collections.
