Cecil Stokes is the founder of Tentmakers Entertainment. Cecil has executive produced and/or produced more than 500 television shows for the following networks: A&E, Court TV, DIY Network, ESPN, Food Network, HGTV, History Channel, TNN, Travel Channel and Turner South. In addition, his work has been honored with many awards including: Cable Ace, Communicator, New York Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, Telly awards and a regional Emmy.Stokes’ most acclaimed works are his films: A Man Named Pearl and the hit October Baby, which earned more than $5 million with a production budget of $1 million. In addition, Cecil has written, directed and produced national commercial spots with Cadillac, BMW, Hyundai, Suzuki, The State of California, Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Lines, Kohler, Sara Lee, Miracle Gro, GE, Calphalon, Splenda, Moen, Clorox, Hidden Valley Ranch, Glad, Valspar, Lowe’s, and Delta as well as over 100 more. In 2015, Cecil adopted his son Boone from foster care at the age of 8 years old.  He has learned first-hand the beautiful and brutal of raising a son from foster care.  Though he had traversed 13 countries and 46 states, walked the Red Carpet and lived what felt like a dream life, Cecil says his life did not begin until the day he became a father.  With new awareness of the great need we have for the adoption of legally-free foster children, Cecil and his son travel as “Boone and Me” to churches and groups throughout the country, educating and encouraging Christians to adopt. Most recently, Cecil has found success in writing children's books - I LOVE YOU TO THE SUN AND BEYOND, I LOVE YOU FROM HERE TO HEAVEN ABOVE and YOU ARE MY DREAM COME TRUE.
