About Cecile Sami

Buying for the last 15 years. I handled the procurement for INGOs such as Save the Children International, educational entities such as the British Council, and the American university in Cairo. I also took charge of the business development at Diwan Bookstores, after having handled the International purchasing. Before that, I had a 6-year-long career in pharmaceutics and cosmetics. These experiences improved my way of approaching tasks and delivering work in the best possible way and in a timely-manner. Throughout my career, I have developed high communication and coordination skills, an ability to multi-task, to work under-pressure, and to supervise large teams. I am proactive, a hard-worker, I take initiative and responsibility. I can work both in teams and individually. I can easily work with various people from different social and cultural backgrounds, I think in an organized and analytical way, and I am a fast learner.On a social level, I volunteered in different responsibilities such as children mentoring, teaching, and helping under-privileged teenagers develop a more resilient and confident character as they interact with society. On a personal level, I enjoy scouting, swimming, reading, drawing, soccer, tennis and teaching myself several skills from programming and music to languages such as German, Italian and in the future... Hebrew and Coptic/Hieroglyphs.
