My main focus was to assist with the development of the 5Degrees System which is now part of an ERP program Prophet.Liaising with a wide range of customers was part of my daily planning and I had to ensure that all invoices were correctly generated and sent to different customers.

I started at Katope Cape to gain experience in the fruit export industry and became responsible to coordinate fruit from packing facilities to customers. I gave training at packing facilities to operators and had to ensure that the correct flow of information was generated. Part of my responsibility was installing Farm Systems (fruit export program – Dipar) atCold stores and Packing facilities and I maintained the master files and handled all queries regarding export information.My responsibilities also included shipping documentation and ensuring that the correct inventories were available for marketing department to make the best possible marketing decisions.Delivering presentations to growers providing statistical information, as a marketing function, to compare estimates and end season products as well as volumes delivered and post season analysis of issues, challenges and other relevant information.An important responsibility was to ensure loading of fruit took place according to market requests and requirements.
