As Product Design Lead for Philips Beauty I was part of the Beauty design team as well as various project teams. My responsibilities were creating user centered design solutions, communicating the design intent and product ideas through drawings, renderings and mock ups to the teams. In my role I made CAD files that were used by engineers. I worked together with model makers and engineers as well as production facilities to make sure the design intent stayed true all the way through production. I also led freelance designers and illustrators, created consumer journeys, participated in trend analysis workshops and facilitated creative workshops with designers and engineers as well as co-creation workshops with non-designers. At Philips Beauty I designed Epilators, IPL Devices, Skincare Devices, Haircare Devices, and Footcare Devices.

At Philips Avent I worked on a new pacifier strategy as well as new architecture and production implementation for soothers. I was part of a cross functional core team that innovated product solutions around the breast feeding journey from hospital to home. I also worked on a baby bottle warmer, a baby camera, a glass bottle, a teether, an entry level toddler drinking cup and a hospital breast pump.

Freelancing for o-i (Owens Iillinois), I developed new glass container shapes and decorations as well as new brand languages and brand application propositions for energy drinks. For 3M Europe and North America I designed electronics and table top products. I created a logo and website for La Casa Nella Prateria (dog daycare and kennel in Varese), and designed a reading toy for Matter LC3 contributing to children’s education in New Orleans. I also worked on self initiated designs targeting production.

At Steelcase I developed benching furniture systems, as well as desk-top accessories. I also closely collaborated with engineering and manufacturing to design and implement innovative solutions for easy power access and cable management.
