Back from a short sabbatical to organize family matters and now ready to hit the ground running!

Responsible for the Financial Management including, Accounts Payable, HR/Payroll, Revenue and Cash Management, and Investments for Palm Beach County. Coordinated a high level “Go Green” initiative transforming a paper-based Accounts Payable Audit and Pay process into a fully integrated digital online process. Improved morale by holding first “All Hands Meeting” with 70+ staff.

Successfully established a "start-up" PMO and Portfolio Governance in the BCC.

Served as a consulting business liaison to Fortune 1000 companies providing hands-on, technical and functional expertise for HR-Payroll & Benefits implementation and transition using a variety of analytical tools, including SQL, MS Access and MS excel.

Operating in a leadership role responsible for the continued operations and support of the general ledgers and surrounding financial applications for the State of Massachusetts. Included managing 23 staff members and 10 contractors in several key Commonwealth projects, including YR2000. Interfaced with 146 agencies around the state, and managed ongoing maintenance, including changes due to financial and legislative requirements and product upgrades.

In a senior management role, provided management and liaison support of the following business functions; Corporate Finance, Tax, Treasury, Human Resources, Internal Audit and Travel. Responsible for the identification, impact and project structure of the Corporate Year 2000 effort for BTMCC. Also conducted meetings with the Federal Reserve, business contingency partners and senior management on impact and solutions.

Technical lead in the definition of integrated testing and implementation strategy for a client server application using internal FSDM methodologies. Specifically, identifying and defining test and quality assurance objectives, risk identification and management, and policies and procedures. Also responsible for project planning effort for the staged implementation of a client/server based Common Order Processing application.

Participated in the sales cycle for potential clients utilizing project experience to detail services and methods of delivery. Responsible for the coordination and project management of enterprise-wide multi-million dollar high-availability client/server system turn-key designs and implementations in a variety of platform environments and vertical markets. Provided project management and general consulting services to client corporations. Entailed working in conjunction with senior-level management as liaison between internal IS organizations, Sequent internal technical services, strategic vendor partners, and consultants.
