Funded by the Law Foundation of Ontario, developed and implemented a “Connecting Partnership” between the agency and rural and remote communities in Thunder Bay and Kenora. Researched and conducted needs assessment to develop relevant training and online material for youth and front line Aboriginal community workers on legal education.

Research: Impact of Trauma on Recidivism in Young Offenders.

Developed and implemented employment program for youth with barriers to employment. Created and facilitated three week intensive trauma based group therapy, followed by two weeks employment readiness workshop and a six month internship process. Developed partnerships and internship opportunities. Successfully developed meaningful internship opportunities for all participants in both the private and public sector, maintained relationships with interns and participating agencies. Oversaw the hiring, performance management and development of staff, program strategy and project execution. Responsible for the follow up, program budget, and evaluation.
