Responsible for quality of a group of suppliers in Mexico. Conduct advanced supplier management activities such as: Search for new suppliers ( perform Potential Analysis per VDA 6.3 and Supplier Set Evaluations ) Perform Preventive Quality activities to guarantee the maturity level of supplied parts and develop suppliers ( perform process audits per VDA 6.3. Supplier's ppap responsible for plant in transition. Develop new suppliers within the company's methodology and frequent audits to critical vendors. Assist suppliers to improve their quality system.

Analyze and work with supplier in order to resolve quality issues by performing audits and improving supplier's quality system. 1. assure the supplier performance by implementation of corrective and preventive actions from supplier with the support from purchasing. 2. Perform supplier audits for continuous improvement . 3. Monitor and communicate KPIs to suppliers. 4. Establish supplier quality goals 5. Revision and approval of re- qualification of supplier parts. 6. Create inspection plans for receiving in SAP. 7. Establish and improve quality system for receiving/ inspection area. 8. Drive zero defect mentally within supplier base. 9. Negotiation with supplier for quality costs. 10. Transmit OEMs requirements to tier 2 suppliers adjusting their quality system . 11. VW , Chrysler, , Ford, Cummins , Hyundai and project for GM and Nissan as customers.
