Fin dalla sua istituzione (2008) è curatore scientifico del centro di ricerca museale Fondazione Plart (www.fondazioneplart.it); è fondatore e direttore del Master in Exhibit & Public Design (https://web.uniroma1.it/masterexhibit), ha coordinato il Corso di Laurea in Disegno Industriale (2008-2012). Svolge attività di ricerca presso Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture Department nel campo dei materiali con particolare riferimento ai polimeri e dell’exhibit design. Scrive sulle più importanti testate di design e architettura. Tra i suoi libri pubblicati: Mo’... Moplen. Il design delle plastiche negli anni del boom (Rdesignpress, 2006); Plastiche: i materiali del possibile (Alinea, 2004); Plastic Days. Materials & design (Silvana Editoriale, 2015). Il suo volume Le parole del design. 150 lemmi tecnici liberamente scelti (List Lab, 2012; rist. 2014) è stato selezionato dall’ADI Design Index 2013 per il Compasso d’Oro 2013. Since its appointment (2008) she has been the scientific curator of the Plart Foundation museum research centre (www.fondazioneplart.it); she is Founder and Director of the Master in Exhibit & Public Design (https://web.uniroma1.it/masterexhibit), having coordinated the Degree Course in Industrial Design (2008–12). She carries out research at Planning, Design and Technology of Architecture Department in the field of technologies and materials, with particular reference to polymers and exhibit design.She writes for some of the most important design and architecture publications.
