Payroll Outsoure Officer
CurrentResponsible for accurately managing the payrolls for a portfolio of clients, encompassing a • range of payroll configurations, i.e. weekly, fortnightly, bimonthly and monthly pay runs. • Calculate and ensure salaries and wages comply and are distributed accurately as per EBA, • Award, Employment Contracts, contracts and other regulatory / legislative requirements including taxation and superannuation. • Ensure the success of the total payroll process for any client as allocated in accordance with the relevant client agreements and the standard Paypac processes and procedures • Manage the assigned client portfolio, complying with the agreed deadlines in each process, ensuring an optimal quality in the delivered results. Ensure that reconciliation of payruns is completed and discrepancies addressed. • Any corrections to pays as instructed by the client are processed in a timely manner • Effective management and timely response of pay related queries. Promptly resolve client queries, issues and/or escalate matters as required • Assist in the collation, recording and analysis of payrun related errors. Promptly report any error, act, omission or breach (Either client or self) via the Incident Reporting and escalate matters as required • Report a Notifiable Data Breach. • Prepare all necessary reports and other ad hoc requests • Manage Single Touch Payroll processes and ensure compliance with all ATO requirements related to the provision of end of year payroll information. Proactively suggest improvements to increase productivity and efficiencies for Paypac. • Follow directives from the Payroll Outsourcing Supervisor and the Payroll Outsourcing Team • Manager, as instructions/procedures are updated or when changes occur. • Assist other payroll staff as requested, to complete their processing in a timely manner or to • cover periods of leave or illness.
