In charge of project and commodity work for both mobile phone and table products in SOMC BJ and Tokyo development centers.Worked in SOMC Tokyo Development Center in Y2012 for tablet productMain responsibilities in projects•Carry out sourcing activities for all mechanical parts in projects until stable high volume production, including plastics, metals, die cutting parts, shielding, etc. •Cooperate with RD to utilize component design with reasonable cost through Cost Matrix process during concept study•RFQ, Supplier Selection, Negotiation for price, investment, and other commercial terms•Material drive for each prototype build•Secure supplier capacity, tooling schedule and material availability for project ramp up •Follow up parts approval status from both RD and Quality sides.

Project management for sourcing activities in both ODM and in-house productsMain Responsibilities•Represent sourcing department in main project team to support sourcing related issues for all material in mobile phone•Lead sourcing buyers and SQE in each commodity to drive cost, quality, material availability, development schedule, etc.•Manage and drive total Direct Material cost and other relevant investment to ensure cost target can be achieved and thus contributing to best business case.•Risk management to ensure project success by leading sourcing team to seek for appropriate solutions;•Create and maintain sourcing resource plan.•Co-work with other sub-PMs such as RD PM, IPM, Supply Chain PM, .etc to fulfill all project commitment

Be responsible for material planning and procurement for Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens mobile phone projects from project development phase to EOL.Main Responsibilities•Material planning, create and release weekly forecast according to customer demands and production plan;•Secure material availability for project ramp up, mass production, and ramping down through handling orders and following up supplier delivery;•Control and manage inventory by regular inventory analysis, especially during project ramp down phase, minimizing excess material, negotiating liability when project is EOL.
