With over 25 years of experience as a professor and researcher in human-centered data science and artificial intelligence, Dr. Cecilia Aragon has contributed to the advancement of knowledge and practice in visual analytics, aviation, and social computing. She has authored over 200 publications and three books, and received prestigious awards such as the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers and is a Distinguished Member of the ACM.As co-founder and CTO at Viata, an early stage startup, Dr. Aragon is applying her expertise and passion to transform how people understand travel time and optimize their transportation choices.
