I won the research job at the University of Florence, Department of Architecture in 2010. During my Academic experience I've been attending and organizing seminars, conferences, workshops and classes, and I published several papers about my research.The focus of my research have been the ecological study of city-sea boundaries, by introducing the concept of "tonality" of landscape boundaries. The results of my research points out a set of good practices for the design of urban waterfronts.My PhD Dissertation, titled "New landscapes between city and the sea. Criteria for the design of a boundary" was discussed in 2013.I gained a mention for my thesis at the Florence University Press Award.
