Describing my role as a Materials Manager might be a bit different than what I have done in the past, but at heart, it is everything I want- the role has allowed me to use quite an eclectic skill-set within a wide variety of projects. It is what makes it an exciting position for me, the chance that everyday poses an unique challenge, a learning experience,the possibility to impact the organization in tangible ways. A more comprehensive list of my responsibilities is listed below, but several projects within the last year have been note-worthy to me:- A full redesign of all MasterCard workshop materials. I created new Powerpoint templates, graphics, and layouts to create a modern, updated look that would reflect their brand. - Working to create eBooks of our workshop materials for a more modern and eco-friendly option. I have had an active role in research, act as a liaison for the vendor, convert all materials into the eBook format, and troubleshoot user issues. - Oversee translation of materials for use internationally. Work with the vendor to maintain standards unique to our industry. - Develop a closer relationship with my role and development of materials by stepping into the process earlier, consistently providing the latest file versions, streamlining how files are updated, and providing continued Powerpoint support as new versions are released.Design Software:- Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Corel Painter, Flash, Avid, and Microsoft Office Specialties: - Illustrations and graphics; traditional and digital mediums- Page and ad design for print and publications- Marketing materials - Digital photography - Fluent in Spanish- Strong organizational skills
