About Cecilia Dent

I have worked in the legal sector since 2000 and joined Brachers LLP as Risk and Compliance Manager on 31st October 2016, I was promoted to Risk and Compliance Director in May 2023.I began my career in banking in 1982 and moved over to the legal sector in 2000. Having carried out various roles on the practice management side over the last few years, I have gained valuable experience in the legal sector. I worked at a large East Anglian Law Firm, until I relocated to Kent, when I moved to a smaller firm, as a practice manager. I joined Brachers LLP in October 2016 and was promoted to Risk and Compliance Director in May 2023.I am responsible for looking at the risk strategy within the firm, implementing and supporting the firm's regulatory, certificate and governance compliance, providing recommendations to support the firm's goals and objectives. In my spare time I enjoy training our dog and getting out in the countryside walking. I love seeing the change in the scenery over the different seasons.
