I lead the development and management of the Research Support and Behaviour Lab teams. This is a role with wide ranging responsibilities related to the delivery of an excellent research support service for faculty across LBS. These include research governance (e.g. research ethics, integrity and data privacy, NDAs); research assessment (external and internal); research funding (pre and post-award; internal and external); supporting the relevant research committees and ensuring high quality behaviour lab facilities and support.

I set up and then led the Research Support Team at Cranfield University. As part of this role, I contributed to the implementation and delivery of the University's research strategy and related processes and policies, and provide an expert support function. In addition I had responsibilities related to researcher development including the development of training programmes and strategic initiatives. Team won the research management team of the year by ARMA (2017).

Employed as a 'Research Fellow in Renewable Energy' within the Centre for Bioenergy and Resource Management at Cranfield University. My key role was as project manager for the Bio-Thermal RED ERDF funded project to support SMEs in the East of England involved in renewable energy, through access to the Renewable Energy Demonstrator facilities at Cranfield University or gaining consultancy or training services by recognised practitioners and researchers in renewable energy.

PhD Researcher in environmental and analytical chemist, working on a project entitled: 'An investigation of approaches and analytical tools to disentangle point and diffuse sources of nitrate contamination', as part of the ATWARM Marie Curie FP7 project.

Worked within the Quality Assurance Department, where my responsibilities included ensuring legal and ‘The Coca Cola Company’ obligations for raw material, water, wastewater and product analysis are met through in-house and external lab analysis; the incoming inspection programme; statistical monitoring programme for product age; assisting in ISO and TCCC audits.

Responsible for the preparation and demonstration of laboratory sessions for various groups of University (BSc) and A-level Biology students and correcting their lab-reports.

Analysis of pharmaceutical products according to established methods to establish conformance to the required regulations.

Responsible for setting up of a laboratory and establishing SOPs for the quality control requirements of a winery. Carried out quality control of the grapes before harvest and on being received at the winery, as well as of the fermenting and fermented wines. Oversaw the treatment of the differentwines at the different stages of production.

Responsible for quality assurance as well as laboratory testing of grapes and wines in the various stages of the fermentation process at the Marsovin laboratory.
