Cecilia joined CEBDS as COO with the mission of bringing the best practices of the private sector into the organization operation. In direct dialogue with the president, to ensure compliance with the goals and results identified in the strategic planning, she led an organizational restructuring that included remaking of the organization chart, profiles, salaries and functions. As responsible for operational and financial management, she reorganized financial planning, contracting services and project budgeting practices. These controls and new ways of valuing the work done were especially important at a time with scarce financial and human resources.During her 4 years in CEBDS, Cecilia became familiar with the most current best practices related to sustainability, considering environmental, social and economic of business aspects.Her years of experience in reviewing texts for websites and manuals in the previous company, as well as her degree in Translation, allowed her both to support the coordination of communication activities (social networks) during various periods in which the department had no direct manager, and introduce important changes in the processes regarding CEBDS publications.Her ease of communication and English skills were instrumental in playing the focal point with the University of Cambridge (CISL), with whom CEBDS had a partnership, as well as international partners and funders.Also with regard to international partners and funders, her focus on the results of the management of grants received, reporting and transparency in the relationship were key for the renewal of these partnerships and foundations.

Started working at Ccaps right after it opened in 2000, overseeing operations and managing localization projects. Ccaps worked mostly for global software companies, such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, VMWare... directly or via Localization Agencies.Contact with clients and prospects and development of marketing actions designed to expose Ccaps in the international market with aims of prospecting new clients.Responsible for the management of company’s Administrative and Financial areas, as well as the control of bank accounts (including the USA), foreign exchange contracts, payment of the outsourced supplier portfolio, billing of national and international clients and the supervision of outsourced accounting and human resources services.

Geographic Café was a coffee shop installed inside Wöllner Ipanema designer label store.Together with my business partner, I structured the point of sale of Geographic Café, with a focus on food retail, managing the progress of the remodeling work, choice and installation of equipment and decoration, as well as the selection of suppliers, purchases, cash control, supervision of suppliers and customer service.

Creation and organization of the whole business, including rebuilding the industrial kitchen, legal paperwork and acquisition of equipment. The company supplied hot meals for civil construction, producing and delivering more than 2,000 daily meals at lunchtime.

Financial Assistent (from Nov 90 until Apr 1992)- In charge of Brazilian/French accounting and freight/travel agencies invoicing for Brazil operationsAirport Manager Secretary (from Oct 1987 until Nov 1990)- In charge of main tasks as only secretary on the premises and passengers assistance during business hours while airport staff was not on duty.
