Having come from an entrepreneurial family, I developed a love of businesses at 9 years old. I hung wallpaper over the summer and helped my dad balance his ledgers after school (yes, it was green and I had to use a pencil). Since then, every role I’ve held has been an intentional shift to gain hands-on experience in how organizations leverage their resources to drive performance. I’ve also learned how mismanaged organizations wither and, sometimes, die. I’m thankful to have run operations in legacy organizations (Avon), emerging technologies (Nissan), start-ups/growth (AIR/Jafra) and non-profits with desire to build greater impact! I’ve been on sales teams, led marketing efforts, stewarded people/HCM resources and started/sold my own business. I value how decisions made in silos contribute to dysfunction and underperformance. My favorite season of any organization is when there’s a vision, but not necessarily a clear and actionable path to get there!
