This quote by my favourite actor, Rowan Atkinson perfectly describes my career journey, a testimony of adaptability, determination, and commitment to lifelong learning.The journey started in my formative years in Budapest in a loving family where my schoolteacher mother was (still is) my beacon and role model. Because of this upbringing, everything I do has a focus on others; my passion for communication and building meaningful relationships are key to success. This has led me to thrive in education, customer service, team management, and event management, while also gaining valuable experience in care and retail.Recently, I embraced an exciting new challenge as a Relationship Executive with Navigators UK. Here, I am not only learning the nuances of charity fundraising, but also contributing to the mission of The Great Commission—a truly humbling experience. I also work on developing the NavNetwork membership, fostering a strong, engaged community for a cause I deeply believe in.In addition, I serve as Parish Secretary, managing the administrative functions of the church. This role draws on the transferable skills I honed in the NHS as a receptionist and team leader, where I contributed to compassionate and efficient patient care across GP surgeries, hospital departments, and training centres.I am still on the lookout for that ideal part-time music teaching role, ideally in a primary school. I am passionate about crafting bespoke curricula that inspire children's early love for music, exposing them to a range of genres and nurturing their curiosity to develop strong performance skills.My niche is playing the hurdy-gurdy. In the hurdy-gurdy community I became known as one of the key organisers of the UK Hurdy-Gurdy Festival, which grew from an idea to have our own event into a full-fledged yearly residential weekend uniting enthusiasts from across the country and beyond. Volunteering in this capacity has been one of my most fulfilling experiences. I am also active in the local tenants union movement as Membership Secretary, where I help support and empower our community.I love the diverse opportunities life has presented and excited to continue making a positive impact in every endeavor.
