Amidst the hustle of this busy semester, I overlooked sharing some exciting news from earlier this year. In April 2023, I had the honour of being elected as the President of the Italian Society. Grateful to our 150+ members for entrusting me with the opportunity to guide our community's growth, expand our network, and strengthen collaborations. Looking forward to the journey ahead!

In May 2023, I was lucky enough to travel to Bali, Indonesia, and begin my internship as Creative Director’s assistant in Ika Jane. Having briefly worked with the brand and its incredible founders Micaela Miljian Savoldelli and Julien Miljian Licata before, I was overflown with excitement at the prospect of first-hand diving into their vibrant Balinese dimension of creativity as part of the team. While my time as part of the DONTWALK Fashion Show had given me a foundational knowledge of the… Show more In May 2023, I was lucky enough to travel to Bali, Indonesia, and begin my internship as Creative Director’s assistant in Ika Jane. Having briefly worked with the brand and its incredible founders Micaela Miljian Savoldelli and Julien Miljian Licata before, I was overflown with excitement at the prospect of first-hand diving into their vibrant Balinese dimension of creativity as part of the team. While my time as part of the DONTWALK Fashion Show had given me a foundational knowledge of the fascinating workings of the Fashion world, having the chance to follow the development of a brand’s new collection, from creative discussions and archival research to marketing meetings, sourcing of 100% sustainable materials and overlooking the textile production, was an experience I will never forget. Not only did I get to witness the marvels of the Ika Jane team, but I was given the invaluable chance of having my own ideas being encouraged, taken into consideration and often integrated into the process. I assisted the creative director and the photography team in the planning and production of the brand's launch campaign in Bali, Indonesia.
