I enhanced my time management skills by working 2 jobs, attending school full time and maintaining living independently in Silicon Valley. I valued remaining connected to nonprofit organizations because of my genuine passion to support those in diverse communities (ethnic and socioeconomical backgrounds). The skills I've learned the past 8 years have been utilized on a daily basis which strengthened my ability to adapt to different environments. I recognize the community I care to serve does not have access to the same advantages. The best way to teach others to be self-sufficient, is to educate through firsthand experience, learn and be of example. My connections within my community have been growing since 2014. I continue to work with all age groups from childcare to peer mentoring through supervising teams, to supporting clients one on one based on their individual needs (mental, physical and age development). I am building the tools necessary to be an effective team player and leader.
