About Cecilia Vallini
I was born and raised in Argentina and lived in Spain, Venezuela, and Mexico, dedicating myself to advertising, specifically in the Digital and Social Media world.I started working at TERANTBWA\ in 2016 as Head of Engagement with responsibilities such as leading and developing the Social Media area of the agency. As Head of the team, I am in charge of more than +50 people and oversee digital strategies and creative content. The clients I work for include Nissan, BBVA, Bachoco, Brown-Forman, Sigma, among other leading companies in Mexico and Latin America. In 2020 I was promoted to Social Media & Cultural Strategy Director, leading TBWA Backslash for LATAM, TBWA's cultural intelligence unit. Creative and strategic thinker, cultural spotter, and with a strong sense of leadership, I developed my career in Spain, working for six years for the pioneering agency of Social Media in that country, SrBurns; with clients such as Disney, P&G, Lexus, Diageo, etc.In 2013 I returned to Latin America as part of the founding team of Socialphilia, a Social Media agency lead by Gaby Castellanos, with headquarters in Madrid and branch offices in Miami, Caracas, and Buenos Aires, as Engagement Director.My academic background in Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and Event Planner at the University of Palermo in Argentina, plus personal projects on fashion blogging and trend hunting, giving me a unique approach to my advertising and communication career.
