SB 1 requires the Governor to appoint an Inspector General to lead the Independent Office of Audits and Investigations (IOAI), and upon confirmation of the California State Senate, the Inspector General serves a six-year term. The Inspector General is vested with the authority to maintain a full-scope, independent, and objective audit and investigation program. The Inspector General has a duty to review policies, practices, and procedures and conduct audits and investigations of activities involving state transportation funds administered by Caltrans. IOAI audit staff is organized into three offices—Finance and Operations, Project Delivery, and Planning and Modal. IOAI also includes an Investigations office and a Deputy Inspector General for Diversity and Small Business Development.

The advisory council focuses on University of California procurement practices as they relate to, and impact, small and diverse businesses. This includes, but is not limited to, program implications regarding social sustainability, social equity, diversity and social justice.

The Community Advisory Council serves as an important source of information on current and pending developments in the Twelfth District with an emphasis on underserved and lower-income communities. The members provide observations, opinions and advice to the management of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco on the present state of the economy and on developments in the respective members’ communities and areas of interest. CAC members reside within the nine-state District of this Reserve Bank and provide the Bank’s senior management with information on current and pending developments in the regional and national economies.

Maintain close relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain awareness and facilitate ongoing adoption and employee engagement in new processes and corporate initiatives.Work closely with outside counsel and expert consultants to research and select new products and services; identify opportunities for operational improvements while mitigating risks to governmental compliance, customer satisfaction, or technology infrastructure. Seasoned in coaching and mentoring change management team members to help them maximize team efficiency and create additional capacity with the organization.
