At present I am teaching Organizational resilience and business continuity in three masters held by prestigious universities in Rome. I have just ended in helping a Regional Public Administration in designing and implementing a Regional CERT according to AGID and ENISA guidelines. During last 3 years I was involved in a major project in assisting the Italian Public Administration in increasing its resilience against cyber threats and in accompanying it in the digital transformation (three years plan) teaching and assisting in carrying out a risk assessment.I started as a computer programmer and soon I became analyst programmer and then responsible for application development in an economic research institute (ISCO), where I spent 12 years. After 5 years in consultancy services in PriceWaterhouse, I joined Banca Nazionale del Lavoro - BNPP - where, during 24 years of service, I covered many different responsibilities as Direttore di Sede (Senior Executive Vice President). I was in charge of: ICT Internal Auditing, Project leader for the Automation of the Group's Foreign Network (USA, South America, Europe, Cina), and also CTO (during transition to Euro and Y2K). Lastly, I was Group's Business Continuity Manager. I want to underline that I was required by the top management, and then by the Group's BoD, to implement new internal functions (eg.: Internal IT Auditing; ICT Architecture; Business Continuity; etc.), or complete relevant organizational projects that were in high difficulty being out of budget and in delay (eg.: new information system in foreign subsidiaries and branches). I have always been within budget and constrains. I recently wrote my experiences in 2 books and I am sharing them freely with young students with the help of other members of ANSSAIF a non profit association. One characteristic of my working experience it is that I have been head of many different functions. I love reorganizing an internal function, and then move to another assignment.In my working experience I have always reached the assigned objectives and budgets. The projects I conducted have always ended successfully within time, costs and constraints.I like to assist companies in innovating, and renovating their internal structures, catch opportunities, while facing possible threats. I also enjoy sharing my 40+ years of experience with young students. I am still updating my knowledge (eg.: last year I have obtained 7 CISCO certificates in cybersecurity and networking). I am eager to give assistance to those who can take advantage of my experience.
