Cecily Engelhart (she/her, Ihanktonwan Dakota & Oglala Lakota) is a Double Certified Life Coach, known by clients as “Your Dream Life’s Hype Chick.” I help people who are feeling burnt out, trapped, and drained of enthusiasm to decolonize, dismantle systems of oppression, and cultivate more joy. I help people and organizations to activate their agency and transform their futures. I also takes great pride in my work at regional and local levels serving Native and rural communities. Through better understanding ourselves and each other, I feel we can more readily comprehend the individual implications of systemic issues and find opportunities for mutual learning, collaboration, and equity building. In all my work, I bring a layered, equity-focused lens and a solutions-based mentality. My top Five Clifton strengths are: Futuristic, Focus, Ideation, Relator, and Context. Envisioning what's possible is not only my instinct, but a strategic use of these strengths. When I find an idea or project that captures my attention, my focus is intense and my capacity for generating ideas and brainstorming strategies is almost limitless. I love sharing ideas and discussing possibilities with others, especially when their expertise differs from my own in a way that deepens my comprehensive understanding of a subject. Understanding the context of a collaboration, project, or idea helps me see the bigger picture and more effectively strategize next steps. When I'm not coaching, I nurture my creative expression as the owner of Rosie Matȟó, my jewelry business. I also am penning my first two books and in the early development stages of my Native travel show. I love hosting events in the 1904 Victorian home my little family bought and is restoring on my reservation.
