- Investigate day to day Quality Issues.- Lead Immediate Quality Response upon receipt of any internal problem.- Perform investigation of products & processes with detailed reports and results. - Coordinate containment of suspect product as needed.- Perform Root Cause Analysis.- Lead / Facilitate Problem Solving Teams & Countermeasure meetings.- Lead / Facilitate Quality Improvement Teams.- Review and monitor performance of plant quality targets.- Coordinate APQP activities.- Update Quality documents as required (Control Plans, PFMEAs, Process Flows).- Write detailed work instructions / standard operating procedures / inspection standards.- Review Process Alterations, Special Acceptances.- Train employees, as required, on any Quality related documents, procedures, etc.- Interact with all internal departments as well as suppliers and customers.

- Develop and maintain the product quality operating system for Ryobi Die Casting.- Obeys and enforces the safety and conduct rules of RDC, as published.- Review layouts and gauging checks and make disposition on products.- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including but not limited to Control Plans, PFMEA’s, Flow Charts, and Inspection and Gauging Instructions.- Review layouts and gauging checks and make disposition on product.- Serve as Champion for 8Ds, CARs, and other problem-solving investigations for internal and external quality issues.- Is the primary contact for Customer 8Ds.- Assist in training RDC associates on product quality checks and functions.- Process RMA’s and reviews, dispositions, and initiates corrective actions for customer returns.- Exercise supervision over quality inspectors and technicians.

Utilizing SolidWorks, create custom designs and layouts for part feeding equipment in manufacturing environments. Designs are configured to suit the needs of various industries, including Medical, Automotive, Aerospace, Munitions, and more.

- Develop lean flow to minimize manufacturing costs.- Create and maintain operator work instructions.- Perform time studies.- Provide capacity planning to meet ramp up volumes.- Perform ergonomic assessments.- Plan production floor layouts.- Maintain labor routings.- Develop and maintain PFMEAs.- Modify / Improve existing assembly jigs/fixtures/work stations.

- Perform QS9000/TS16949 audits.- Lead cross-functional teams in 8-D problem solving efforts.- Lead the Material Review Board for the disposition of nonconforming product.- Manage the tool building process for plastics, metals and assemblies.- Develop packaging standards for in-process parts and finished goods.- Manage APQP process while developing new parts and assemblies.- Design and build jigs, gauges, and machines for inspection and testing.- Work with customers to make design modifications to existing parts .- Manage Continuous Improvement projects using Plan, Do, Check, Act methods.

- Work with various brokers to refinance loans for existing mortgage holders.- Provide customer service and advice during the loan process.- Order title work and appraisals based on investor guidelines.- Complete applications and credit checks to obtain loan approvals.

- Utilize 7-Step problem solving methods including written reports to Chrysler.- Manage annual PPAP submissions and Forever Requirements.- Investigate field concerns for the Autoliv Warranty Center.- Train hourly employees in Statistical Process Control (SPC).

- Coordinate and lead company-wide continuous improvement efforts.- Maintain tracking system of internal, external, and supplier corrective actions.- Lead cross-functional teams in Lean Manufacturing projects.- Conduct Gauge R&R studies.

- Supervise 10 Quality Inspectors in daily activities.- Develop Process Control Plans and supporting Quality documents.- Support Inspectors and SPC teams in problem solving techniques.- Program and operate CMM.
